The 2-CONnect abutment assembly has been designed to enable automation in manufacturing of screw retained implant supported restorations. Due to the conical design feature of the abutment, implants with up to 30 degrees of divergence can be connected in a single bridge section. 2-CONnect abutment have been developed to be used with several of the most common implant interfaces.
The 2-CONnect assembly includes a titanium insert. The insert geometry is universal for all 2-CONnect abutments. The insert has been designed with a titanium shoulder resulting in screw torque loads being placed on the titanium (not zirconia). The 2-CONnect insert is cemented into the final restoration as the final step in manufacturing. The recommended cement for the titanium insert is Multilink Implant cement from Ivoclar Vivadent.
In addition to the 2-CONnect abutment assembly there are ancillary lab drivers [W 11.100.000] and a dentist torque driver [W 11.000.000]. Please note, all 2-CONnect abutments use a unique octagonal driver [W 11.005.G60] for placement. The insertion screw is a star configuration that is universal to all 2-CONnect seating screws [W 11.LNO.G40]. Please note, both the abutment and final insertion screw should be torqued to 30 N/cm at the time of final insertion.
The 2-CONnect abutment requires a unique octagon shaped driver. You and your dentist will need this driver to work with the 2-CONnect system. It is recommended that the dentist place the abutments with 30 N/cm. of torque. The final insertion screw is configured with a driver requirement that matches the implant companies driver configuration. The restoration screw is also torqued to 30 N/cm.

Prior to bonding, make sure the screws fall through all the holes of the zirconia bridges. If there is a problem you will need to manually enlarge the hole(s).
